SEND Teaching Assistant
Fixed Term Contract (Linked to EHCP)
Term time only Monday to Friday - 8:40am – 12pm & 1pm-3:15pm
27.60 hours per week - Grade 5, SCP 11-14 - £28,142- £29,540.00 pro rata depending on experience
Actual f.t.e. 0.6236 - Annual actual salary £17,549 - £18,421 (pending NJC pay rise)
Start Date: 1st September 2026
We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work with a number of children with EHCPs across the school. Knowledge or experience of supporting children with speech and language difficulties, using multi-sensory approaches to learning and adapting the curriculum would be advantageous. The successful applicant will work towards the outcomes set out in the EHCPs.

Start Date: 1st September
We are looking for two friendly, fun, reliable people who appreciate the value of great play and enjoy working outside. Key tasks include working within a high-quality outdoor environment to offer active, social and creative play opportunities for all Blue Coat children at lunch time, plus working with our catering team to ensure that everyone gets their lunch on time.
