Sports Day ~ Key Stage 1 (more photos added!)

The morning's sun-baked affair was followed by a sizzling Key Stage 1 take on Sports Day. The key focus here is on the children feeling competent and confident to try a broad range of activities and to challenge themselves to persevere.

The morning's theme of superb parental support continued into the afternoon where many a proud parent spectated, cheering on their little ones to try that extra bit harder.

Activities varied from smelly sock drying through to hula-hooping and relay formats. The children loved it and we hope all in attendance enjoyed the atmosphere and opportunity to see their child(ren) active in a different context.
