May there be fun at the Fair! (updated for more pics)

On Saturday, the school gates opened - by none other than Liverpool FC rising star Jamie Stephens(!) - to crowds of supportive parents, pupils and community members. Alas, it was the Blue Coat May Fair. The PTA did a fantastic job of putting on a varied programme of activities that included a number of dance displays, workout classes, singing choirs... as well as a range of stalls that tantalised punters to part with their cash - all in the name of school fundraising!

Even once spread out over our expansive school site, the large number of visitors to the fair was evident wherever you stood. A huge thank you to all parents, pupils and members of the community who turned up and showed their support for the school including, of course, the PTA, staff and willing parent helpers. It was a fantastic day (again) and we hope to bring more highlights and a grand total to you over the coming days - stay tuned to the news! In the meantime, here's a few snaps...

EDIT: Here are some far better action shots from the PTA (thank you to our resident photographers for the day - Martyn Hirst and Keith Palmer)
