How to Make Chocolate Brownies

Are you looking for the perfect chocolatey treat? Well here is a fantasic recipe which will surely make your tummy rumble!
You will need:

350g dark chocolate, broken in small pieces

250g unsalted butter
-
3 eggs
-
250g dark brown sugar
-
100g plain flour
-
1 tsp baking powder
-
icing sugar (for dusting)
Method:
1. Heat the oven to 170°C/gasmark 3. Grease a 22cm square baking tray with oil.
2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl, over a pan of simmering water.
3. Whisk the eggs and sugar together 'til smooth and fluffy. Then, fold the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
4. Sieve the flour and baking powder into the mixture and stir thoroughly. Pour the mixture carefully into the baking tray.
5. Place on the middle shelf of the oven and bake for 35 minutes until the top is shiney and starting to crack. Remove from the oven. Allow to cool completely in the tin.
6. Slice the brownie into squares and remove from the tray. Dust them lightly with icing sugar. Store them in a tin or in a container in the fridge.
7. Enjoy!
