Watch a BBC Newsround report (for example http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/19669214 or another of your choice) and see if you can spot the same features (or their visual equivalents,) that we identified this week for written journalistic recounts.

I watched a clip from Newsround about Space. I found: a heading, subheading, 5w, quotes, pictures, facts, powerful connectives and adjectives, opinions and it was in chronological order.

I watched a clip on newsround about Half of the Great Barrier of coral reef that has gone. It had all 5w's and interviewing peoplelots of info picturesand chronological order, quotes.

I watched a clip of Newsround about the coral reef. I found: a quotation, it was in the past tense, it had photos, connectives and it was in chronological order.

I watched the clip about the endagered fen raft spider i found: A headline, good description, facts, statistics and a retorical question it also had all 5w's and a summary.

I watched the Newsround where it had the promotion about more healthy school dinners. It contained:
a headline, by line, an introduction with the 5W's, Persuasive vocabulary, EXCITING vocabulary, Quotes, summary with a look to the future and images. :lol:

I watched the one about the sun changing and I found:
1) An introduction telling you what it is going to be about.
2) Has sections with there own headings.
3) Quotations.
4) Shows you things people have e-mailed or posted in.
5) Normally a brief history of the subject.

I watched the clip about school dinners.It included places,time,video clips whilst reporting and also interviews,the 5ws,information about statistics,facts, figures and last of all twitter to get view points. They used graphics to show the twitter comments.I agreed with how small the school dinner portion was.

I watched space week (news round) it included technical vocabulary,5ws , facts,videos, and quotes. ;-)

I watched the piece of new on the Beatles 50th Anniversary.
Who = The Beatles
What = It was a World Record For the Largest Choir singing a round celebrating the Beatles Anniversary.
where = Liverpool, This was where the Beatles came from.
when = Last week
Why = To break a world record to celebrate the 50th Anniverary of their first song.Love Love Me Do.
