Lights, camera, action!

On Monday 17th February 2012 Class USA started rehearsing for their class worship, in the school hall.

Everyone started practising their lines, poems, dancing and songs and thinking about the artists that they had been learning about, such as Vincent Van Gogh.  Rehearsals took place over several days, and we had to project our voices so everyone could hear us.  Jamie was doing the slides - you could see them really well.

Some poems were fantastically funny! Mum used pritstick, My Dad Your Dad, Louder and First Day at School were hilarious! Colby said, “It was fun and hard at the same time.” Jamie S also quoted “I loved my part in My Dad Your Dad.” The hardest part for everyone was doing the play scripts, which were Jamie S’, Michelle’s, Macey’s and Ellis’. The play scripts were of Humpty Dumpty and Baa Baa Black Sheep.

On the day, everyone was really nervous. Mrs Jones said, “I felt nervous and tense, but proud of the children.” When they went on to the stage, they got their nerves back. Everyone tried their hardest, everything went smoothly and they all wanted to do it again.

It was a great day and everyone enjoyed it!
