Autumn at the Arboretum

We had a fantastic day exploring all the exciting things that Westonbirt has to offer. We rummaged and foraged through piles of leaves, collected cones, nuts and seeds, explored how and why the trees change through the seasons, investigated how to keep creatures warm and made bookmarks.

The children went on a seed hunt and had to find different seeds that were growing on trees or had fallen on the ground. We learned how the seeds were dispersed - either by the wind or by birds or by other animals.

We had a great day and wanted to say 'Thank You' to Mrs Henley, Mrs Kenny, Mrs Milne, Mrs Topham, Mrs Wood and Mr Ryan for helping make our day so special.
