A few bits and pieces...

Thank you so much for remembering that Monday is P.E day and that the children wear their kit to school. Until the half term holiday P.E will have a games focus. Please can children have daps or trainers for both P.E sessions.

This week, spellings will be going home, but as Friday is an INSET day the children's spellings will be checked the following Friday (26th), giving them plenty of time to practise! The spellings give the children a chance to practise phonemes and letter patterns learnt in class over the week.

Hopefully you will have had a little note in reading diaries telling you when your child will have their books changed each week. Please remember, just a quick comment about how your child got on is so helpful to us; we love to hear how the children are reading at home.

Please could all children bring in a postcard sized photograph of themselves as a baby to help create a corridor display of how we change? Please put it in a named envelope and ensure that your child's name is on the back of the photo. The photos will be returned!

Finally, a big thank you to all parents who have volunteered to help at forest school! Last week we had a brilliant, sunny session - lots of bug hunting, digging, and den making. A lumpy, bumpy toad even delighted us with his company!
