A very wet Forest School - week 3!

We had a fantastic, but wet, Forest Schools today!  We read the story 'Stick Man' by Julia Donaldson and then we made our own stick men.  We got in to partners and one of us lay on the ground while the other partner marked their outline with twigs and sticks.  We then decorated our stick men with features using leaves, straw, twigs and berries.

After that we got to choose another activity, some of us chose to be blindfolded and follow the rope path without looking, others made a den (a great shelter for Mrs Awbery!) and others made an assault course.  We had another fabulous week.  Thank you to Mrs Taylor and Mr Stevenson for helping us and of course a huge thank you to Mr Brooks.

Sorry, in advance for your child's wet clothes!
