A great start!

I'm so pleased with the way the children have settled into their new class. We had a lovely first week back, getting to know each other and for me, finding out what the children enjoy doing.

Just a few bits and pieces. Firstly, tomorrow (8th) is the children's 1st P.E lesson. Please make sure they come dressed in P.E kit, ready for a lively and energetic lesson! Most children already have their additional shorts and T-shirt in bags on their pegs, but if they haven't please bring it in ready for Tuesdays lesson.

A newsletter will be going home on Tuesday. This will give you information about the topic, spellings, the Home Learning grid, Mathletics and reading. Please do pop in if you have any queries.

An additional letter will be going out shortly asking if all children can bring in a photograph of themselves as babies. We would like to create a display that links with our science unit 'Healthy Humans', comparing how we looked and behaved as babies compared with now. The photograph needs to be roughly postcard size please and in a named envelope. Many thanks!

Finally, thank you for your patience whilst the building work goes on. It's not an ideal way to start the year, but it will be worth it to have a non-leaky roof over our classroom! The children know where to line up in the mornings, but just in case...Class Livingstone are number 4.
