Budding scientists!

I just thought I'd bring you up to date on some exciting things that have been happening in Class Livingstone. Last Monday we were fortunate enough to have a visit from Sky and Zach'a dad who explained to the children the importance of saving energy. The children loved it, learning so much in a short time, in a lively and informative way. Many thanks to Mr. P for coming in.

Today was rather different for the children in MP1! Benjamin and Matthew's mum prepared a fantastic morning of science workshops based around forces. Activities ranged from magnetism and static electricity, through to buoyancy and air resistance - but all at the children's level, hands- on and plenty of opportunity to explore. The children learnt so much and we're looking forward to following up next week, as the children had lots of questions about their learning! Each child had a booklet that has gone home. I'm sure they'll enjoy sharing it with you and may like to complete anything that's unfinished.

I'll attach some photos, hopefully over the weekend...if not, early next week.
