We have launched into 'What a job'

We all enjoyed our Launch Day where we all dressed up as different professions. Thank you for your support in supplying the outfits and props. Mrs Davies and Mrs Crossfield took to the 'hot seat' and you asked them great questions about their jobs.  We all know Mrs Davies is an amazing artist but we also found out that Mrs Crossfield knows lots about the plumbing trade! We are looking forward to learning about more professions including vets, police, rugby players and musicians. Our role play area has been transformed into a vets surgery and the children have already started to treat some poorly pets!

We were very lucky to have a visit from Mr Wharin this week to talk to us about his job. He is a Baptist Minister and as part of our R.E topic he was able to explain all about Baptism. We learnt so much so a big thank you to Mr Wharin for your time. If your child has any photos of their own or others Christening please bring them in next week ready to share in circle time.

Next Thursday 1st March is World Book Day. We would like the children to bring in a story box with clues inside about their favourite book. We will share these throughout the day and read as many  stories as possible! Have a lovely weekend.

Mrs Moir
