Diwali

Class Kingfisher enjoyed learning all about the festival of Diwali last week. Our rangoli patterns were bright and colourful, the children  enjoyed listening to stories about Rama and Sita and our clay diva lamps are ready to be painted. Lots of us tasted traditional indian food and we all enjoyed a bit of dancing in celebration of Diwali! A big thank you to Ved's parents for their help with food and dancing.

Please remember that this Thursday 14th November is our first Forest School session. Wrap up warm everybody in long trousers, long sleeved tops, jumpers, hats, scarves and gloves! Please make sure you have wellies aswell.

We loved our first ever Forest School thank you, it was a fantastic thing to do and as a helper this week I couldn't believe how good the children all were and how much the session was enjoyed. My daughter is still talking about finding bugs.
