Big hair and lots of cake!

Wow, where did the time go? We're about to start our final week of the term and Easter is just around the corner! We have had a fun packed time over the last couple of weeks; two four day old goat kids came to visit us and charmed the children (and the adults!), we have had another wonderful Forest School day and then today we helped to raise lots of money with all your kind donations for Comic relief. Thank you so much for your support. The children had a great time shopping at the stalls and we loved watching Thomas and his circus skills during worship. Have a look at Mr Ryan's collection of photos on the news page.

Next week, we will be getting ready for Easter, finding out about the Easter story and making some surprises to take home. the children will be writing some instructions to help them remember how to make their surprises for you, so you may even find them busy at home making more Easter goodies!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recipe writing this week, when we thought of all the most gruesome ingredients for our troll stew. I hope nobody tries to make that at home! Outside, we went on a fantastic Easter egg hunt, which really helped us with lots of positional language too. With blindfolds on, it was really important that we followed our friend's directions carefully to find the prize at the end.

Have a great weekend everyone and see you all next week.

Mrs Davies
