We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

We hope you all enjoyed your half term break and made the most of not rushing to Pre-School.  Some Spring weather has made a brief appearance and we hope that the drier sunnier weather is a hint of things to come.

Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, Paula Howden, as the new Chair of Blue Coat Pre-school & Busy Bees Fundraising Group. I also have two little ones, one in Reception and a littler one in Poppers. As I work full time, this is a great opportunity for me to meet other parents and socialise, as well as making a contribution.

Get Involved

We have a number of fundraising events coming up and would welcome any extra support. If you have any ideas or would like to be involved, all are welcome. The next PFG meeting is at 8:00pm on Wednesday 2nd May in the Swan Hotel function room,

Please note that Pre-School will be closed on Friday 2nd March 2012 due to a school Inset Day. There will be a Busy Bees Holiday club running from 8am to 6pm for Blue Coat School children (Reception to Y6). Please contact Jo Bell for more information or visit the Busy Bees Before & After School Care page for a booking form.

Last week the children had lots of fun celebrating and making things for Chinese New Year. They made masks, lanterns, moon cakes, chinese bowls and chinese scrolls. They practised using chopsticks to pick up noodles, bean sprouts, lychees in jelly and rice.

Happy New Year.

We hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year and are enjoying being back at Pre-School.  A big welcome to those children and their families who are just starting in Poppers and Buttons we look forward to getting to know you.

We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

from all the staff at the Pre-School & Busy Bees

The clocks have gone back and it feels like winter is on its way, but there is plenty going on to keep us occupied.  In the Pre-School we have enjoyed our Bonfire topic, with some lovely fireworks being created in each group and it was rounded off with a visit from Firefighter Mark, who showed us how to dress safely if we go to a firework display. Thank you for coming in to see us and for the stickers Mark.
