On Friday 29th June Pre-School invited the children to dress in the 'wrong trousers' to raise money for Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation which helps sick children in hospitals and hospices in the UK.

The Parent Fundraising group will be holding a cake sale at 3.15pm at School. You have all be very generous with your cake baking already, however please can we call upon you one more time! Could we ask that any cakes/cookies etc are brought into the Pre-school Unit by 2pm on Friday 13th.
Thank you!

Sandie Nickols
Secretary (Parent Fundraising Committee)

At last we have had some sunshine and can start to believe that summer is on its way.

The children have certainly been enjoying being outside without coats, hats and gloves.

Surprise storytellers

We would like to thank all those parents and school staff who have volunteered to come and tell a story at the end of the session – it is lovely for the children to share stories with other adults. If there is anyone else (parents/grandparents/carers) who would like to pop in to read or tell a story to the children then please let the staff know.

Please can you bring your child into the Pre-School playground for 8.55am, this should only take a couple of minutes. We do ask parents to hide in the Toggles classroom away from the windows so the children are not distracted.
We know not all children are in session that day, however you are all invited to join in with the photo. By doing this first thing, it allows you to continue with your day afterwards.

Ginette Hood, Liz Owen and myself, all parents of children in Buttons will be running the Westonbirt 10km run on Monday 11th June at 7pm. We are running to raise much needed funds for the Pre-school and Busy Bees Unit Outdoor play area. We would appreciate any help possible. You can download our Sponsorship form.

Please come along to our Bollywood Night Event Meeting on Thursday 24th May at 8pm at the Swan Function Room. Any help you can give to plan this big event to raise much needed funds for the Pre-School & Busy Bees would be gratefully received.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
