Change for the Better

christian aidLast week a giant bronze and silver worm was spotted on the Blue Coat
playground. Don't panic though - it was no child-eating beast!

Indeed, instead of being something which would cause people to scatter in all directions, it was something which brought our school community together.

At the beginning of the week, Reverend Morag had spoken in collective worship about Christian Aid and the work that they do around the world. This inspired children to look behind the cushions of sofas and chairs for bronze and silver coins which they brought in on Friday to create the worm.

A fantastic £249.64 was raised, a total which will be added to other donations from the Wotton community. A huge well done to everyone for this fantastic effort.
