Blue Coat Art Chosen for Public Display

RE art competition winnersSchools across the county recently took part in an exciting RE/Art competition brought to us by the Diocese of Gloucester.

Pupils were challenged to produce a piece of artwork which linked RE reflections with art, exploring their ideas and recording their experiences or the experiences of others.

Entries were invited around the theme of ‘Faith Encounters’ and could include work on any major world   faiths. Blue Coat School judges Peter Downs, Kate Tutty and Mary Buckley remarked on the quality and depth of   thinking displayed, finding the job of choosing a winner from each class challenging!

The prize winners each received a certificate and a chocolate treat kindly donated by the Co-op in Wotton-under-Edge.

All winning entries are on display at Discover DeCrypt in Gloucester during the month of May.
