Departing Year 6's Sing Praises at Cathedral Service

2016 06 13 12.22.21 pmEach year, Blue Coat's eldest pupils attend Gloucester Cathedral for the Diocese's annual Leavers' Service. This year our pupils were invited to perform at the service and so we jumped at the chance to showcase our pupils' singing talent in the form of iSingPop.

The children's performance was breathtaking, first leading all schools through 'Imagine This' and then finishing with a moving rendition of 'Only Love'. School staff in attendance were incredibly proud of how our pupils represented the school.

The service was very well organised by the Diocese, with a series of performances from several primary schools, prayers, hymns and even a Queen's Birthday quiz led by the Dean!

Before the service we visited a local park in Gloucester to burn off any nerves and have lunch. Following the challenges conquered at their recent residential, the children found few obstacles at the park... but enjoyed it nonetheless!
