A Letter from the Bishop's Visitor

glos dioceseFollowing the school's successful SIAMS inspection outcome, we had our annual visit by the Bishop's Visitor last week. This is an opportunity designed to celebrate the ongoing work church schools are doing with regard to the development of their Christian distinctiveness and ethos.

The half-day visit incorporated a walk through the school environment, observing teaching in an Early Years and Year 6 class (to see Religious Education in action) and an interview with the headteacher to update on the progress being made in developing the school's Christian distinctiveness.

It was rewarding for the school to be recognised again in its recent achievements and for a visitor to give their 'outside-looking-in' perspective on our school.

A copy of the Bishop's Visitor's visit letter can be read here.
