Our Children Help Those In Need

IMG 4201Children In Need 2012 was commemorated today in school by a donation based dress code of 'Shades & Hats'. However, it has also become a child-driven tradition that Milepost 3 classes take the initiative to show some enterprising behaviour for the charity through self-designed stalls aimed at boosting the money pot.

This year was no exception what with the children coming up with some novel ideas for stalls that included water shoot downs, soldier shoot outs, treasure map hunts, comic stalls, guess-the-names and many more.

At morning break children and staff turned up in their droves to support the cause and many a coin changed hands. The children on both sides of the stalls did the school and the charity proud.

Their efforts were not in vain - this year Blue Coat raised a whopping £620. Well done everyone!
