Famous Speeches

One of my favourite speeches was made by John F. Kennedy in 1960 when he was being made President of the USA.  Here is a short extract from it:

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.  My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.

I like it because it encourages us all to work for the freedom of all people in the world, and he speaks with a power and passion.
