green fingers and blue bread

Class USA have been conducting fair tests to find out which conditions help a runner bean to germinate. The only beans to germinate in our official test were the ones with no soil! However, we each planted 3 beans in soil and found that whilst most of them germinated, there were still those that did not; it just went to prove that to make a test reliable you have to do it lots of times (in case you have used faulty resources!)

Having learned how to carry out a fair test, we then planned an experiment to find out which conditions helped bread to go mouldy quickest. Our results showed that warm or damp or handled bread went mouldy quicker than cold or dry or non-handled bread respectively.
