Whoops a daisy delight

I am SO proud of all our brilliant performers! All the hard work and practise came together in a brilliant show from our talented reception children. You all sang so beautifully, remembered your own special parts and the result meant there was hardly a dry eye in the house! Well done everyone, you are all superstars. Photos will follow shortly!

Only two weeks to go now and for me, those weeks will be a little shorter. Mrs Moir is very excited about joining us on Wednesday and has lots of lovely Christmasy activities planned. She has loved meeting you all and being part of "Whoops a Daisy Angel". I will be in school as usual every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, when Mrs Moir will join us and then continue to take the class on Thursdays and Fridays. We are really looking forward to sharing the pleasure of seeing you all progress during the new year.

Mrs Moir was very impressed when she took a turn sharing some of the children's reading books. We both love reading your comments in the children's yellow reading diaries. Hearing how reading is going at home is essential in enabling us to track the children's progress together. Even if your comment is just to say that your child was too tired so you had the book as a shared story, it helps us to manage their progress appropriately, so thank you so much for your support.

Well, I'm very much looking forward to lots of tinsel, glitter and all things sparkley for the next couple of weeks and to seeing some great writing and numberwork as we consolidate all our hard work this term.

I loved your class worship. I especially liked when the Moonbeams and Angels did the dance 8)
