Don't Forget...

....school term ends on Friday 15th December at 2.30pm

Both strange and scary the big chess set’s flickering lights surrounded it giving it an eerie, cold feeling. The set’s black and white squares gave the children a feeling that they were in danger but from what they did not know. The sets cold stone pieces looked a little bit like the famous gargoyles from the Notre dames in Paris, the pieces were so large they were like giants from years ago turned to stone. Each piece had its very own mini piece like an army of soldiers waiting to march into battle, to play this game you would need to be both brave and courageous and maybe a little foolish.
