Anything could happen on the Internet. You don’t know who you could be talking to you. The truth is not always on a computer game.  Someone could scam you, send messages you are scared of and maybe even abuse. So if you get horrible things tell your parents even if there is a threat because your parents will sort it out. Tell your parents about the issue but before you go on a game ask your parents.
