Don't Forget...

...Reception 2018 Open Morning for Parents in the school hall on Tues 7th Nov 9.30am

Well done to all of those children (and their supporters) who turned up to the last cross-country race of the season.  The field was very muddy to say the least and I think the children did well just to keep their trainers on!  Thanks to all those children and their supporters who stayed to the prize giving – we had some fantastic results all round.

First of all, in the junior girls’ category, Lena came 2nd overall and Zoe 1st position.  For the senior girls Connie came a respectable 9th place overall.  In the senior boys category Ace came 10th, Joe 8th and George 5th overall.  There were also prizes for the best teams.  Zoe, Lena and Millie got first prize for the best junior girls’ team.  Connie, Lucy and Eliza came third in the senior girls’ category and our junior boys, Jamie, Dan, Archie, James and Sam, were the second best junior boys’ team.  Dylan, Ace, Joe, Jamie and George came 2nd for the senior boys’ team.  Finally, as a large school we came second overall.  A brilliant result everyone!

It looks very cold and very wet from those photos. We really do have some talented and resilient athletes in our school! Congratulations to those earning places and more widely everyone for taking part and representing the school so proudly. Impressive stuff. 8)
