Don't Forget...

...term finishes at 2.30 pm on Weds 28th March.

Each week our class gets a copy of First News - an award winning children's newspaper - and towards the back there is a current affairs quiz. Here are the questions from this week:

1. How many people took part in the Big Butterfly Count?
2. What world record has Peter Glazebrook set?
3. Whose new single is called Lucky Day?
4. Who has sold more than 17 million singles?
5. What are Kit and Kitty?
6. Which country is celebrating respect for the aged day?
7. What does SLS stand for?
8. What was Martin Mathath's time in the Great North Run?
9. What is MyUK?
10. What is Evolta?

The first person to get their noses into the paper and the correct answers written down (and handed to me) will be the winner of the National Geographic bone pen currently sitting in my desk basket! The deadline to enter is next Monday and I'll announce the winner next Tuesday. Better get reading!
