Splash! The daredevil smashed through the calm surface of the swimming pool. Water droplets sprayed up and sparkled like jewels in the afternoon sun. Everyone thought it was a stunt because that’s what Bob normally does. They did not know the true reason for this act.

A black figure slipped away like a shadow.

“Why did you do that?” asked Amy. “It wasn’t me, someone pushed me. Honest. Look.” He pointed up at the distant roof , no-one was there.

A roar of laughter surrounded him. From somewhere in the crowd was heard the sinister chuckle of the mysterious man who had tried to kill him.
