The Water Cycle

The water cycle starts off as the sea, but it does not really start off because it has been in that process for years and years.

The heat of the sun causes  the sea water to evaporate and  form a cloud

The cloud carries the water and while the water is being carried, it joins together into bigger and bigger droplets.

The droplets then get heavier, so the cloud drops them as rain, and that is how it rains.

Some of the rain that falls, sinks into the ground and becomes ground water. The rest of the water forms a stream, or joins a river that leads back to the sea.

That is how the water cycle works, don't forget, it takes about a month to complete. Some ground water can stay in the ground for years. Absolutely amazing.
