Don't Forget...

....school term ends on Friday 15th December at 2.30pm

Tuesday at 3:42pm

It will be lovely to see you all again tomorrow, and I do hope you've all had a lovely chocolatey break!

Just a few things for this week.

As you know our topic is from A to B. An outline of the topic has been sent on parentmail, but please let me know if you (or anyone you know) needs a paper copy.

This week we launch our science unit which looks at plants. Our home learning grid (going home this week) has some exciting plant projects that your child may like to do at home.

The stimulus for our English lessons this term will be stories with a 'plant' theme starting with Oliver's Vegetables by Vivian French. We will focussing in particular on using adjectives, but as always we'll be practicing writing sentences accurately.

If you have ordered a poetry book or are waiting for it to be signed, the books will be with you on Monday 20th April.

See you all tomorrow!

In maths we will be having a week of place value - finding numbers between multiples of 10 e.g. 24 is between 20 and 30. We'll also be learning more about fractions at the end of the week.
