Don't Forget...

...teachers will be undertaking more INSET on Monday 30th October so the first day of Term 2 for pupils will be Tuesday 31st Oct

Friday at 8:26am

What a busy week we have had finding out all about Chinese New Year! We learnt the story of the Great Race and also found out which animal we were born under. We made Chinese Dragons, painted cherry blossom trees and made Chinese lanterns.

On Wednesday we visited our Chinese Restaurant (in the school hall) where we tried rice, noodles, pork dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, custard dumplings and green tea. Class Snapdragon all had a go at using chopsticks and some of us mastered some great techniques.

On Friday we invited our buddies to come and watch our dragon dance and listen to us sing. We gave our buddies a good luck wall hanging and a fortune cookie.
